Co-founders Sam and Matt first crossed paths at an electrical contracting company in Loughborough, where Matt served as Sam’s apprentice. When the company dissolved in 2008, both ventured into new territories. Matt played a pivotal role in managing an electrical contracting business in Wanaka, New Zealand, overseeing multi-million dollar projects. Meanwhile, Sam established SLR Plumbing and Heating.

In 2016, Matt returned, and Bradgate Electrical Services Ltd was born. Combining their experiences, they merged their businesses with a collective goal: to specialise in renewable energy solutions. Their expertise spans from large-scale PV systems on farms to installations in residential and commercial spaces. With insights gained from working for others, they fine-tuned their services, prioritising quality, customer satisfaction, and environmental responsibility.
